SPN ELDRITCH REVERSEBANG: Claims and Previews! This is how we're going to do it.

ARTISTS, THIS IS HOW TO TURN IN YOUR ART!

ALL art rough drafts are due on JANUARY 10. If I don’t have your art by January 11, I’ll assume that you dropped out. Claims are due on JANUARY 20. You can still keep fine-tuning your art until the posting date, but any substantial change has to be made in agreement with your author.

Your art must be attached to the message. A link is fine. You can submit more than one piece. When submitting your artwork, you must include the following information in the body of your e-mail (This is the text that will be next to your art in the anonymous preview post!)

Ao3 Name:

Fandom: (Indicate here if your art is RPF, SPN, or crossover)

Title:

Short description of art/Prompt: (What is visible/happening in the artwork? This should not be a detailed story request, but enticements may be included here)

Warnings: (Please indicate whether the art contains Graphic Violence, Major Character Death, Rape/Non-Con or Underage content, in addition to any other warnings you think are necessary. Please note: genres are not considered warnings so include them in the description field if they are worthy of note.)

Characters: (Please tell us WHO is in your art and who you would like to be included or excluded from the accompanying story)

Pairing or Gen: (Indicate here if you want gen, have pairing preferences, or don't care either way.)

Do Not Wants: (Put squicks and absolute deal-breakers here. Don't go overboard.)

The artist is willing to make more pieces to go with the story: (YES or NO. Remember you must make a banner in addition to your art.)

All the above must fit on a slide, so please be concise.

All works will be posted anonymously for the claiming process. Your art can NOT be posted anywhere before the assigned posting date.

PREVIEWS: On JANUARY 15th the preview’s link will be available on SPN Eldritch Discord. If you signed up but you’re not on Discord, please email spneldritchbang@gmail.com and I’ll send you the link.

 

FIRST ROUND OF CLAIMS: the claiming form will be available on January 20th at 8:00 pm, London time. If you’re not on Discord, I’ll send you an email with the link. Author, pick your first, second, and third favorites, indicating the number and title as they are on the preview. Artist, if you signed up as an author too, remember that you can NOT claim your own art.

Once a piece is claimed, I’ll send a double email notification to the artist and author with the caveat that they should feel free to make contact with each other but not make any public announcements until Reveals.

If there is any art pending of claiming, a SECOND ROUND OF CLAIMS will open on JANUARY 22 for everybody who signed up on this ReverseBang, both authors and artists who didn’t sign up as authors from the start.

If necessary, a third round of claims will open for everyone on January 26th on DW/Tumbrl, removing from the linked folder those pieces that have already been claimed.

I think it goes without saying that no artwork can be shown outside of SPN Eldritch Bang until the posting date.

On JANUARY29, REVEALS will be posted on DW/Tumblr.
