Sign ups are now open for the Supernatural Eldritch Bang!

What is the Eldritch Bang? It's a new Supernatural bang that focuses on the eerie, creepy and unnatural. Give us all your horror tropes, Lovecraftian monsters, Gothic scenes.

Whatever scares you most, this is the place to write (and art) about it.

Writers must produce a fic of at least 5k words that revolve around any topics that tie back to any relating horror themes. Artists will then claim stories and produce one piece of art (or more if you want) for that story.

The challenge will be run simulateously on tumblr and livejournal.

Posting begins on Halloween. Fast, quick and fun. And did we mention scary?

So, I have been on a demon!Dean kick lately. Would that qualify? I mean, I'm thinking Supernatural is basically a storybook for horror, so whatever I choose to write should technically fit in, correct? I'm really excited that I found this, by the way! I've been looking for some new bangs to sink my teeth into since I got back!

Demon!Dean would definitely qualify! The eldritch bang focuses on all things eldritch (anything sinister, scary or ghostly) and you may interpret that in your fic however you like.
